Request for Proposals: Accreditation Management System

The Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC), on behalf of the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools (CACMS) (sponsored by AFMC and Canadian Medical Association (CMA)) is formally undertaking a request for proposal (RFP) for Phase I: Essential Functions of an accreditation management system (AMS).

The following package of five documents has been created to provide proponents with the information necessary to submit a proposal:

1. AFMC Request for Accreditation Management System (AMS) Proposals: Provides an overview of the scope of the work, requested experience and knowledge, budget & schedule, rated criteria, and proposal submissions instructions. NB: The Deadline for submissions is May 24, 2024, 5:00 p.m. ET.

2. Business Requirements Document: Provides a comprehensive description of CACMS procedures and a detailed description of the requirements for Phase I: Essential functions.

3. Deliverables – to be completed by Proponent (Appendix C): This worksheet provides all the requirements related to this RFP. To complete your response to each requirement, please use the drop-down menu in Column H (Proponent Confirmation) to select the response that fits best. Evidence should be provided to support validation of the response in Column I. AFMC will validate based on evidence provided to award points for each requirement.

4. RFP Acknowledgement Form (Appendix D): Needs to be completed and submitted along with the Deliverables worksheet and any other supporting documentation you wish to share.

5. AFMC RFP Process, Terms and Conditions: Provides an overview of AFMC’s Process, Terms and Conditions for RFPs.
